New Items!

I have been making bows since my daughter was about three days old. She was born with a mohawk, and while her dad thought it was just "too rad," I didn't. LOL. The first ones made were simple tied out of string, as her hair grew so did my new found hobby. Funny how babies will do that to you! I have been expanding my ideas thanks to many great people- the girls at Cafemom (Bows for Beginners) have been such an inspiration and help!

I'm going to be listing these two bows in my etsy store this weekend!

First Blog Adventure-

Welcome to Slings and Things blog! I'm sitting here on a beautiful morning, drinking coffee trying to decide what to write about. I figure I'll just write about me today!

My real name is Karie. I am from a very small down in Indiana. I have an amazing daughter named Domino, who at this moment is rubbing her pop-ice on the screen door. She is two.
I started baby-wearing as soon as Dio was born. It made my life so much easier and motivated me to get up and do things instead of staring at my sleeping baby- I just took her with me. I think many mom's get in that rut.

I've now been making slings for two years! I've made many adjustments to my first sling and now have the one I love. I'm currently working on my new favorite collection- minky dot! Stop by the store and check 'em out!
